Farmers’ Market meeting summary
Tuesday, November 18th, 2008Committe convened on Nov 13th at Reliabank and reviewed the season, paid employees, and discussed 2009. Present were Ron Oines, David Ebbers, Kristy Ebbers, Fred Webb, Karl Schmidt, and Linda Svec. After paying employees there remains $13.90 in the account.
Horizons commits to start up funds for next year($300 advertising and additional postage), recommends pursuing grant funds, suggests vendors be represented on the committee, and that early start with vendors and advertising be attempted. Balancing participation and regulation was addressed in several ways. The Bandstand/Gazebo Park was an excellent location and we will continue there in 2009 .
