You choose the artist you prefer to work with, and who is available. The artist usually helps you compose the theme and idea, if you don't already have one; possibly provides paints and brushes and their expertise and time. To recap, SDAC provides grant money, the artist (length depends on your grant request) and you supply matching funds. These posters are at the library now. Some of these might inspire some of the student who are planning the mural. I like some of the early photos of farming, the volunteer fire department, school scenes. I'm not sure if they want to create a mural which is entirely historical - but we do have some photos that would help them.
