I see that my name was on one of the New Horizon meeting for writing grants. Yes, I have had some success for our school. I currently have over $260,00.00 and currently have another grant out for another $12,000.00
We gave a state of the art technology program and I feel our kids are getting a great education for the real work once they leave our school.
Grants are all over the internet and you can find millions of dollars for schools and community activities. My goal is to get one million dollars for our school in grant funding.
Yes, I've presented at national conferences and state conferences and give people in South Dakota ideas how the grant processes works.
My heart is in Estelline and I wish them luck on getting funds improving the town. I'd be glad to present what needs to be done to secure funding. I can be reach via email at bryce.holter@k12.sd.us

Hi Jeff and Tonya from Estelline!!

I am from the Murdo Horizon community, and I learned how to put our counter on our blog from instructions that are posted on the front page of the South Dakota Home page blog. (at bottom of each communities main blog page)

The instructions are in the "Helpful Hints" section of their blog, which is the 4th post from the bottom on the categories section. From there you will find the instructions on putting a counter on your blog in the 6th post from the top. I do not consider myself a "blog guru" but it sure has been fun learning how to do things on our blog. Hope you are able to post a "counter" on the Estelline blog. There are a lot of great helpful hints. I also was helped by watching the "screencasts" that explain how things are done on the blog. Here is the address link to the screencasts.
