Strategic Planning Committee meeting
I feel the meeting went well tonight. Lots of discussion on the farmers market–it is more than you think it is. You must learn about it to truly understand it’s a process.
We are looking for a few good men and women to help head up the boys and girls club. It was talked about running for a term so you don’t feel trapped in to staying for the rest of your life. Let’s remember this is truly a community effort and we all need to step forward when the time is right for the individual.

In addition to the other media, the monthly utility bill sent to users of Estelline utilities is an excellent method of getting the word out to the community at large. Information about the Community Garden and Farmers Market should be included in the May utility statement from the City of Estelline, IMHO. Monthly updates would be helpful to many who don’t have access to other media.

yes I agree and the website address should be put in the paper also for the people that don’t know it.

Agree! I’ll put that in the News Release for the Garden. Archers have pickedup articles off the blog and we’ll make sure blog address gets in the articles.
Who controls the monthly billing? Our community organization folks are’nt found or organized yet, so IMHO someone like Ron could help get a monthly update started, how about that?
